QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY

A meeting was held to discuss arrangements for celebrations on 12th June, a committee was formed with,
Chair :- Ron Gore, Vice :- Jamie Allan, Sec. :- Carol Wells, Treas. :- Jenny Littlewood.
Provisional arrangements are, games (young & old) cricket/ football, faith tea, & songs of praise, to be held at Village Hall.
The next meeting to sort out details is on Tue 3rd. May @7-30 in Rose & Crown.

QUIZ

Last week was for the Celebration fund, £115 was raised, winners were "The Hooligans" & "No Hopers"
This week is for J. C. Hosp.

MURAL

The refurbished war time mural in the Village Hall was unveiled last week by Coun.Jessie Milne on behalf of Edward Leigh.
Thanks were expressed to the Bomber Command, Artist, @ V. H. Committee for making this possible.

VILLAGE HALL

A Jumble Sale will be held on Sat. 23rd. April from 2-00 to 4-00 pm Please support to keep your hall going.

FRIENDSHIP CLUB

Last week's speaker was Rev. Phea, who gave a very interesting account of her visit to Jerusalem.
Next meeting is April 21st. @ 2-00 pm, with a Cathedral Guide.
