HARVEST FESTIVAL

Last week was the Church harvest weekend, on Friday the harvest supper was held at the Rose & Crown,
which was enjoyed by all.
On Sunday the service was held in Thurlby's barn, with the Rev. Phaedra Pamphelon - Green & Rev.Lorna Lucas
assisted by Dave Farrow officiating, and a very welcome addition was Lea school choir , who sang appropriate 
items. The P.C.C. wish to thank all who helped make a very good weekend.

MACMILLAN

The annual coffee morning organised by the W.I. raised the magnificent sum of over £1,400.
held in the Village Hall, They wish to thank all who contributed to this event.

FRIENDSHIP CLUB

Last week , Audrey Rushton organised a "party" to celebrate 10 years of "Fred" which was enjoyed by all.
Next event is a trip to Springfields at Spalding on Thurs. 15th. Oct., for details ring Jean Morley on 838343.

QUIZ

Last week was in aid of the Playing Fields, winners were the "Oblong Table Ladies" & the "No Hopers"
£105 was raised, this week is for the Xmas Market, preceded by a meeting @ 7-30, can all interested
organisations please attend and bring a prize if possible , please.
