QUIZ

Last week was in aid of McMillan cancer care, £ 205 was raised for this worthwhile cause.
Winners were "The No Hopers"  this week is for the Playing Fields.
Advance notice , next week is for the Christmas Market, preceded by a meeting @ 7-30,
will all interested organisation's please attend & bring a raffle/auction prize .

CHURCH

Last week was the last in the series of "an evening with" the speaker was local historian
Peter Bradshaw , who gave a very interesting programme of local first world war men who
gave their lives for the country.

CHAPEL

Last Sunday was the Harvest Festival service, lead by Mrs.Sandra Clack, and a full Chapel
had a very good service, this was followed by coffee, and a lunch at the Rose & Crown.
and a good time was enjoyed by all.

Congratulations to Lol & Jenny on their wedding anniversary last week, & may you have
