where the grand total of £300 was raised, brilliant !
Last week was for the Horticultural Society, winners were "Young & Good
Looking" and the "Oblong table"
£70 was raised.
This week is in aid of the Air Ambulance.
NAT. CYCLE RACE
Every one got involved, there was bunting and bikes all around, with the hope
winning the Best Dressed village, organised by W.L.D.C. but to date we have
not had any results.
The Village Hall had refreshments, and an exhibition of cycling pictures by
children of Lea School,
The Rose & Crown had bacon butties and drinks on offer, also the Chip shop did
a very good trade
The Parish council & Bloomers and some residents provided floral displays,The day was well
supported by all and it was a very good social day for the villages.

Parish Council Meeting, Tues. 14th. July , 7-00 pm. in Chapel for public,
followed by full meeting.
Church, Fri. 17 July, an evening of entertainment with Don Aris, at 7-30 in
Church, Morning Prayer @ 9-30
Chapel, Service @ 10-30 with Tim Smith.
