Village news: 10 November 2014

Last week was in aid of the Christmas Market, £85 -00 was were "Bernards Gang" & the "Oblong Table"This week is for Children in Need.

As it is the 25th. year , it was decided that the theme this year willbe "silver". Lea School Choir will sing at 6-00pm,with the opening & light switch - on at 6-30 on Thur. 4th. Dec. 

There is a meeting to discuss this on Monday 17th. Nov. in Chapel Schoolroomat  7 - 30. all are very welcome to attend.For further information, contact Mr. P. Fotheringham on 838347.

A joint service was held in Church, led by Mr. P.Howitt-Cowan, with the names & wreath laying by John Thurlby.Following this there was the dedication of the new Memorial,this was led by the Rev. Philip Wain.The Parish Council wish to thank the following for making the event very successful,Lincolnshire Co-operative, Capt. C. Robinson, Mr. D. Ralph City of Lincoln band,Lincoln Aero Club. and many others who contributed
