Marie Lyon from Call Connect was the speaker at last weeks friendship club meeting. Members were told that the area covered by the scheme was six and half million people with 29 buses covering all these areas. She told of the call back system and that the scheme was subsided by £3 to £4 per passenger. West Lindsey district council give a grant towards the cost of running the buses. It is better to book the bus for group outings during school holiday times as the Gainsborough bus is now used for a short school run. Residents can book on line or by phone and there is no age barrier. All members were given a booklet on the connect bus and it was hoped that more people would use it. Next meeting is on 20th February and the speaker is from Wiltshire farm foods.

Last week's was for the Playing Fields, winner's were the "Oblong Table Ladies" & " The Quip's" £ 116 was raised, this week is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care, please support this worthwhile cause.

Next Sunday (16th.) No Service at Church, Chapel, Service at 1030 with Mr. D. Lockwood.
