HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
Please note the next meeting will be held on Wednesday 19th. Feb. at 7-30 in the Village Hall.

QUIZ
Last week was for the Cricket Club, the winners were the Oblong Table, £ 90 was raised, this wee is in aid of the Playing Fields.

CRICKET CLUB
The A.G.M. will be held on Sunday 9th. February in the Rose & Crown & 8-00 pm. All interested parties are invited to attend.

CHURCH
Last Sunday's service was a "warm welcome" by the Rev. Philip Wain this being do to the fact that the new heating system was now working very effectively, on behalf of the P.C.C. Peter Rushton presented gifts to Carol Pugsley, Sue Dann & Geof Hobert, for all the effort in getting this installed. So there is no excuse for not coming now as it is very comfortable in Church. Next Sunday will be Morning Prayer at 9-30.

CHAPEL
Next Sunday 9th. Feb is normal service, with own arrangements at 10-30

YOUNG AT HEART
The annual buffet lunch will be held on Monday 17th. February at 1230 in the Rose & Crown. Any one who think they qualify and have not had an invite are asked to contact :- Jane Spencer on 01427- 838385, by Fri. 14th. Feb. please.
