Last week was for the Christmas Market £150 was raised, winners were "Whatever & "Bernards GanG" This week is fir the Football Club.

This was a success, starting with Lea School Choir singing carols With the official opening being performed by Mrs. Doris Jubbs followed by the light switch on & the arrival of Father Christmas Ten organisations took part, and will each receive £105 each. The organising committee wish to thank the Rose & Crown for all their help, also Wilkinson's for contributing towards the new lights.

A very enjoyable Christmas concert was held in the Village Hall given by the Choir with additional items by the W.I.S.H. team, plus Degrees of Harmony, along with soloist Margaret Pocklington. A raffle was held with proceeds going to Bluebell Children's Hospice Grimsby. Many thank's to Jenny Fotheringham for arranging this event

Last week the club were entertained by Marjory Clayworth who gave a demonstration of her flower arranging with a Christmas theme. the next event will be the Christmas Lunch on Thurs.19th Dec.
