WOMENS INSTITUTE PARTY.
The Christmas party of the W.I. was held in a attractively decorated village hall on Wednesday evening. The entertainment was provided by members of the Brigg Operatic Society, they then joined members to a very good buffet supper, provided by members. Next months meeting will be on January 11th.
President, Mrs J. Anderson wished all members and guests a Very Happy
Christmas.

FRIENDSHIP CLUB.
The ever popular, Marjorie Clayworth was the speaker at the Friendship Club meeting on Thursday.  Miss Claywoth demonstrated some very attractive flower arrangements, done with silk flowers, her knitted royal wedding was very well received, even the royal corgis were present. The competition for the Christmas candle arrangement was won by D.Fretwell with D.Jubbs and A.Beetham coming second and third. Chair, Mrs Jubbs thanked Marjorie for entertaining again. The next meeting will be on January 12th when Bernie Padfield will entertain members and guests on the Chapel organ.  All are very welcome to come and hear this talented musician.

ALL SAINTS CHURCH CAROL SERVICE.
A large congregation gathered on a
bitterly cold night to join in the seven lessons and carols. Lessons were read by members of the Church and Chapel with Rev. Phillip Wain leading the service. 

QUIZ
Last weeks quiz was for Air Ambulance, Dave Farrow was the quiz
master The winners were the No Idea team £60 was raised. This weeks quiz is for Diamond Jubilee celebrations any donations of prizes would
be appreciated.
