QUIZ Last weeks quiz was for the WI Dave Farrow was quiz master. The
winners were the Whatever team and Mazza's Marvels. £140 was raised
This weeks quiz is for Marie Curie Nurses.

A coffee day, which included a raffle, bric and brac and tombola was held at the home of Bill and Carol Pugsley.
This event raised over £350.00 for Church funds and Hall Farm residence.

Sandy Simonson from Age Concern and First contact was the speaker at
the meeting of the club on Thursday. Sandy told of all the help people over 60 could get by applying to first connect.

The next meeting will be a lunch at the Rose and Crown.

This year the service of remembrance will take on a different form.

Instead of the service being at the chapel or church at the normal service times. A service led by the Trentside singers will be held as a time of Remembrance.

The service will be held at 3p.m. in the church on Sunday 13th November
and will be led by the Trentside Singers and Rev. K.Laconby with Church and Chapel members taking part in the service.

The collection will be shared between the Royal British Legion and All
Saints Church, Upton.

Will meet in the Methodist Schoolroom on November 8th. 7p.m. for the public forum, followed by council meeting.

Tickets are on sale for a Turkey and Tinsel evening at the Rose and Crown on nov 25th. These are available from Church members.
